Principle:
(xylose mutarotase)
(1) α-D-Xylose ↔ β-D-xylose
(β-xylose dehydrogenase)
(2) β-D-Xylose + NAD+ → D-xylonic acid + NADH + H+
* The number of manual tests per kit can be doubled if all volumes are halved.
